Llangollen Railway - Photo Charter with "Dukedog" 9017 - Wednesday 1st April 2009

The first time a black "Dukedog" has been seen since 9017 was withdrawn in 1960 and the first chance to see a "Dukedog" back on it's home patch in Western Region North Wales since 1960. A series of photo charters on the Llangollen Railway with 9017 made this one of the 'must do' events of the year for me.
